In the privacy of your home, you can use our Opalescence whitening system. Two trays are fabricated in our office from exact models of your teeth and will hold whitening solution. Since they are made to fit only your teeth, the results will be more predictable and precise than other whitening methods or over-the-counter products. These trays are made of a clear plastic that should be worn according to a program designed specifically for you by Dr. Clements. Your teeth will whiten over a several week period. Since you will already have the bleaching trays, you can purchase additional Opalescence tubes from our office and do periodic touch-ups as needed.

Dental bonding is one of the most conservative procedures that can solve many cosmetic tooth problems at an affordable price. Dental bonding is a special resin composite that adheres to your teeth and blends in with your own enamel. By artistically applying the tooth bonding material layer by layer, stained, gapped, chipped or misaligned teeth can be fixed to give you a reshaped and refreshed smile. The color of the bonding material must match your teeth to assure your desired look. This may require getting your teeth to a more pleasing color through teeth whitening or other services. Teeth bonding is not a permanent solution. Depending on your oral habits, dental bonding can last for years before requiring a new treatment.
Do you dislike the look of your old metal fillings? Do you want a more natural look to your smile? If so, you can easily replace your silver (amalgam) or metal fillings with natural tooth-colored resins. Typically speaking, tooth colored fillings are much more conservative and more aesthetically pleasing. These are known as composite fillings. These white composite fillings are matched to the natural color of your teeth and are actually bonded to your tooth. Your new restorations are made of a filled composite resin material, which is a very strong material that can actually strengthen your remaining tooth structure and prevent breakage and further damage to your tooth. Another benefit of white composite fillings is less sensitivity to hot or cold compared to that often experienced with old amalgam fillings.
Dental crowns are restorations that cover or cap teeth and/or implants, restoring them to their natural size, shape and color. A crown not only will help with the tooth's appearance, but can strengthen a tooth as well. Dental crowns are made of porcelain, resins, or acrylic and may or may not have an inner layer of metal. Crowns are placed in order to fix large scale defects in the tooth that can be caused by grinding, decay, root canals, cracking, large fillings etc. Crowns are also placed for esthetic purposes. The crowns can be made very natural looking and hide imperfections in ones teeth.
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that are bonded to the front and biting edge of your teeth. Porcelain veneers are used to cover discolorations and fix slight imperfections. They can fill in small gaps between the teeth, fix chips, alleviate some crookedness and brighten teeth.
Bridges are a series of crowns connected to each other to replace missing teeth. They are made in the same manner as crowns and are made out of the same materials. They rely on anchor teeth (the tooth on both sides of the missing space). Bridges can be very natural looking and are a good means of replacement.
